Rod Jones
Rod began his career in 1981 as a licensed real estate broker selling residential properties while attending the University of Missouri. Upon graduation, he was hired by Leo Eisenberg Company, one of the largest developers of strip centers in the country at the time. Two years later, he was promoted to a national partner and was relocated to the firm’s St. Louis office where he developed numerous shopping centers in and around the St. Louis metropolitan area.
In 1991, Mr. Jones became a partner at Midland Development Group where he concentrated on grocery-anchored developments across the country. Midland Development Group was a national real estate development firm with millions of square feet of acquired and developed commercial properties in 12 states. Midland Development Group was sold in 1998 to a NYSE REIT, Regency Centers, Inc. In a transaction valued at $252,000,000.
After the sale of Midland to Regency, Mr. Jones founded Quadrant Properties, LLC. Under Jones’ leadership, Quadrant Properties, LLC worked on a variety of development transactions including: Wal-Mart anchored centers, Kroger anchored centers, residential entitlements, urban land assemblage, value creation through rezoning and public financing, joint ventures related to the development of power centers, environmental remediation and apartment acquisition and redevelopment.
Today, Mr. Jones serves as a principal with JPL Development and is responsible for securing debt and equity financing.
Mr. Jones graduated from the University of Missouri with a BS in Real Estate.
